Green Port's efforts and investments hope to increase the strength of the engineering workforce and raise skill levels to meet the needs of the emerging renewable energy sector. These will give employers in the renewable energy sector supply chain access to:-

• Apprenticeship Wage Subsidies

  Wage subsidies for apprentices enrolled on Advanced (Level 3) Apprenticeship Frameworks.

• Upskilling Training Subsidies

  Training subsidies to upskill existing employees. The programme reimburses employers up to 50% of the direct training costs incurred.
